Lady Fitness - Part One (and only); All She Needs

Ladies, please pardon me a moment while I explain to the men readers what it is that you already know.

Gentlemen, from a weight-loss-and-tone standpoint, NOTHING can compare to the sheer difficulty of weight loss that a lady has after she gives birth.

SO..that being said–forget Richard Simmons, OR the weird-ass guy with big arms and a ponytail, OR the chiques on TV that make you ‘bend-and-stretch-sing-songy-crap” on daytime TV that A LADY DOESN’T WATCH ’CAUSE SHE’S WORKING!!!

Affluenza, and how to stop it.

The Telegraph is running a series of excerpts from ‘Affluenza‘ by Oliver James. What the hell is Affluenza you ask?

Influenza moleculeaffluenza (AF.loo.en.zuh) n. An extreme form of materialism in which consumers overwork and accumulate high levels of debt to purchase more goods (affluence + influenza).

This creeping evil is one of the reasons things are so mucked up here in the States. Keeping up with the Jones’s has become endemic, and destructive, separating us from what really matters. Having fallen victim to this virus myself, I am trying very hard to deal with the fallout. Give it a read, and some thought, it’s worth it.
