I’ve got node number two up and running in ’shared process space’ mode. I’m frustrated because I can’t get the bproc module to load at boot, and have to run modprobe manually form the client at boot. Bummer.
But, I’ve two more nodes to go here, and some lets just say ‘interesting’ power limitations!
On the photshelf front, many of you may have noticed that it is broken… Yes, the authentication system is all bolluxed up. I’m almost done fixing it tho. I’m thinking two or three weeks.
So this weekend, its getting the boot process cleaned up, and then I think we’ll get lustre installed! And hopefully, while I’m waiting for kernels to build, I can hack on photoshelf some more.
Last night, I got back from drinks and Tapas with a firend, and I had a wild hair to ‘make the cluster go bing’ as Ian would say. So, I edited rc.sysinit, and wrote rc scripts for the bpslave daemon, adn now, I’ll be damned if the slaves dont come up by themselves!
