I must say that last night’s dinner was absolutely great!
I call it Carribean Surf and Turf. Thats because the steak had a Carribean red wine suace - It was AWESOME. Red wine and a Habanero pepper!
Anyway, I started the night with a Spanish Tapas - Garlic Shrimp. This had some Red Pepper flakes in the sauce, along with Red Wine vinegar, and olive oil.
So people could nosh on that while I was finishing the steaks.
The steaks were marinated in a Olive oil, Red Wine Vinegar, dark rum and 3 minced cloves of Garlic ( I cheated, I just pressed them).
The steaks were served with a Cinnamon rice - this was an incredible complement to the heat of the sauce, and the steak.
